Career
Joshua David Duhamel, an American actor, started his journey in northern California after college, working various odd jobs. In 1997, he earned the title of Male Model of the Year in the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) competition, where Ashton Kutcher was the runner-up.
In 1999, Duhamel appeared as an extra in music videos for Donna Summer’s “I Will Go With You (Con te partirò)” and Christina Aguilera’s “Genie in a Bottle.” He received acting training from Scott Sedita Acting Studios and later secured the role of Leo du Pres on ABC’s All My Children, earning critical acclaim, especially for his on-screen partnership with Rebecca Budig’s character, Greenlee Smythe.
Duhamel received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2003 for the Special Fan Award for America’s Favorite Couple, shared with Budig, and won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Leo du Pres.
In 2003, he joined the cast of NBC’s Las Vegas, where he portrayed Danny McCoy, the head of security at the Montecito Casino. He continued this role after James Caan’s departure and the series ended in 2008.
His film career began in 2004 with “Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!” and included the thriller “Turistas” in 2006. In 2007, Steven Spielberg personally selected him for the role of Captain William Lennox in the blockbuster film “Transformers,” a role he reprised in several sequels.
Duhamel was the official pace car driver for the 2009 Indianapolis 500 and starred in various films like “When in Rome” (2010), “You’re Not You” (2014), and “Love, Simon” (2018).
He hosted the 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards and starred in the Hulu miniseries “11.22.63” in 2016. Duhamel appeared in a Taco Bell commercial for Web of Fries in 2018.
In 2019, he joined the Netflix superhero series “Jupiter’s Legacy” as Sheldon Sampson, and in 2021, he replaced Armie Hammer in “Shotgun Wedding” alongside Jennifer Lopez. Duhamel also starred in “The Thing About Pam” and joined the cast of “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” in 2022.
On September 23, 2022, Duhamel’s film “Bandit,” based on a true story, was released in theaters and on demand, receiving positive reviews and being hailed as a career-best performance for him.

After several years of dating, the couple exchanged vows on January 10, 2009, in a Catholic ceremony held at the Church Estate Vineyards in Malibu, California. Their union welcomed a son in August 2013.
However, in September 2017, Duhamel and Fergie publicly revealed their separation, which had occurred earlier that year. Subsequently, on June 1, 2019, they initiated divorce proceedings, and by late November 2019, their divorce had been finalized.
In late 2018, Duhamel entered a new chapter in his love life, embarking on a relationship with former Miss World America, Audra Mari. Josh Duhamel’s Son Axl Already Has A Name Picked Out For His Younger Sibling
Josh Duhamel is eagerly anticipating the arrival of his second child, his first with wife Audra Mari. In a recent interview, the actor discussed his 10-year-old son Axl’s excitement and revealed that Axl has already chosen a name for the upcoming addition to the family – a name that Josh doesn’t particularly favor. Speaking with ET in support of Buddy Games, Josh opened up about the pregnancy news.
