Bryan Adams performed at the Nelson Mandela birthday concert at Wembley Stadium on June 11, 1988, and joined Joe Cocker in Weißensee in June 1988.
In March 1989, Adams contributed to the Greenpeace album “Rainbow Warriors,” generating over $8 million for Greenpeace initiatives. He also participated in the charity record “Smoke on the Water” for Rock Aid Armenia in July 1989.
