According to documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Jay Leno has filed a petition with a Los Angeles court to become the conservator over his wife Mavis’ estate. Leno cited Mavis’ “major neurocognitive disorders (including dementia)” as the reason for her lacking the capacity to execute the estate plan. Despite their “loving marriage for more than 43 years,” Leno stated that he has always handled their finances and wishes to ensure that Mavis is provided for in the event of his passing. The conservatorship process began in November, as per legal documents, and Leno’s representatives have not yet responded to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
