Career
She embarked on gymnastics training at six years old, encouraged by her sister who persuaded their mother to enroll her in classes. Starting at Gymstrada in October 2002, she won the Level 4 all-around gymnastics title at the 2004 Virginia State Championships when she was eight. In 2008, she debuted internationally at the US Classic in Houston, Texas, placing 10th in the all-around. She experienced a wrist fracture in 2009, limiting her performance, but returned to competition the following year, showcasing her skills at various meets.
Her achievements include winning the uneven bars title at the 2010 Pan American Championships and securing medals at the U.S. National Championships in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, she relocated to Los Angeles, but in 2014, she resumed training with Coach Chow in Iowa with aspirations for the 2016 Olympics. After winning the 2016 AT&T American Cup, she continued her training, and in 2022, rumors surfaced about her return to gymnastics, which were confirmed in 2023 by her training at WOGA.
