Her theater debut was from 2000 to 2005, as part of the Iberl-Bühne ensemble in Munich-Solln, under the direction of Georg Maier. From 2003 to 2009, she was part of the Bavarian Television sketch series “Die Komiker.” Gruber reported from the Oktoberfest for Bayerischer Rundfunk in 2004 and served as a celebrity gossip commentator for “Grünwald Freitagscomedy” in 2006.
In 2009, she collaborated with Grünwald on the sketch show “Normal is des ned.” In 2012, ZDF gave her the TV series “Leute, Leute!,” a boulevard satire, which she left at the end of the year to focus on live performances.
