Lee transitioned to professional golf at the beginning of 2019, embarking on the European Tour circuit. Despite a strong start with notable finishes, including a fourth-place in the Saudi International and a tied fifth in the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth, his overall performance led to a 117th ranking in the Order of Merit that season. In October, he secured a tied sixth position in the Genesis Championship on the Korean Tour. Towards the end of the year, he achieved a solo third in the AVJennings NSW Open and a tied third in the Australian PGA Championship.
