In 2016, Dillon Danis gained recognition in the mixed martial arts community when he was recruited to join UFC fighter Conor McGregor’s training camp as a coach and training partner for McGregor’s rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 202. However, due to his media portrayal before the Diaz fight, Marcelo Garcia distanced himself from Danis and his school.
In 2018, Danis made his MMA debut at Bellator 198 against Kyle Walker, securing a victory with a first-round toe hold. His subsequent fight was against Max Humphreys at Bellator 222, where Danis won in the first round via an armbar submission at a catchweight of 175 lbs.

Dillon Danis Refutes Mike Perry’s Allegations about Withdrawing from Logan Paul Fight
Logan Paul finds himself unexpectedly entangled in a legal dispute after his fight with Dillon Danis. He is standing by his fiancée, Nina Agdal, who is seeking damages against Danis. Agdal filed a lawsuit and a restraining order against Danis, accusing him of violating revenge porn laws by posting explicit content of her online. Paul advises Danis to take the lawsuit seriously, as the situation may escalate further.
“There are more counts coming,” Paul said on his brother Jake Paul’s podcast. “It’s heavy. I’ll be honest, it’s a f****** .50-caliber adamantium bullet to the dome. He’s f*****.
“We’re about to catch a predator on Oct. 14, because he has some real predatorial s***, which is what he’s in trouble for.”
During their face-to-face interview, Paul strategically obtained video evidence where Danis inadvertently incriminated himself, a snippet of which was shared on Paul’s Instagram.
“In the face-to-face, I gave him a little light deposition where he incriminated himself, but he’s a dumbass, so he didn’t know what I was doing, and he doesn’t know what he did is wrong,” Paul said. “I also think people are confused about what the lawsuit is. I think a lot of people think it’s about the photos he’s been posting, the photos that are online. It’s not.
“It’s about a serious crime he committed, and to be honest, I don’t know if I want to, or can, or should dive in that much, because I don’t want to undermine the justice system. It speaks for itself, and I don’t want this to appear to be fight promotion.”
So far, Danis has been served with legal documents regarding the lawsuit, but he has not appeared in court. Due to his absence, New Jersey federal judge Madeline Cox Arleo granted Agdal’s request for a restraining order, preventing Danis from posting any “sexually explicit photographs” of her without her consent.
