After completing his Abitur in 1995, he interned at the German music channel VIVA and radio station RPR1. Beginning on small stages, he later studied philosophy and political science before opting to pursue his stage career over university. In November 2002, Ceylan launched the successful comedy program “Döner for one,” marking his national breakthrough. Subsequent programs like “Halb getürkt” and “Kebabbel net” earned him accolades such as the German Comedy Award and the CIVIS-Medienpreis for integration. He continued with shows like “Wilde Kreatürken” and “Haardrock,” often collaborating with Roland Junghans.
