Career

After participating in the S. G. Ball Cup for the Balmain Tigers for two years, Doueihi secured a two-year contract with the South Sydney Rabbitohs in October 2016. In 2017, he played 12 games for the Rabbitohs in the NYC and also featured for the Rabbitohs’ feeder club, the North Sydney Bears, throughout the year.

Making his international debut for Lebanon against Malta on May 6, 2017, Doueihi was later named in Lebanon’s 24-man squad for the 2017 World Cup, playing in their pre-tournament warm-up match and contributing to a 32–16 win over Niue.

Doueihi debuted for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in round 2 of the 2018 NRL season, making 15 appearances before a season-ending anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) knee injury. He returned to the field in round 12 of the 2019 NRL season.

However, with the signing of Latrell Mitchell for 2020, Doueihi signed a four-year contract with the Wests Tigers on January 30, 2020. In 2020, he played every game for the Tigers, scoring two tries and kicking five goals in a match against Manly-Warringah. Despite the team finishing 11th on the table and missing the finals, Doueihi’s performances were noteworthy.

In 2021, despite the Tigers winning only a third of their games, Doueihi emerged as a top scorer with 174 points, ranking fourth overall in the competition. In the 2022 NRL season, he played 11 games for the Wests Tigers as the club finished at the bottom of the table, claiming the Wooden Spoon for the first time in their history.

Notably, Doueihi has a diverse sports background, playing junior rugby league for the Strathfield Raiders and Dundas Shamrocks. He also has experience in rugby union, representing the Australian Schoolboys while attending St. Patrick’s College, Strathfield, in 2016.
