He had been questioned by the police three times, with one session lasting 19 hours over the weekend. Lee claimed that he was coerced into taking drugs by a bar hostess attempting to blackmail him, as reported by Yonhap news agency.
Authorities located Lee during a search prompted by the missing person report. The fire official spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter.
